Swift Glass aims to put our clients’ minds at ease, as we aim to provide you with safety and security. When using Swift Glass, we try to make the process easy for you, that is why we offer temporary access doors, that are fully secure and can be used whilst glazing is being fitted, repaired, ordered, or replaced. Boarding up is a temporary solution and is mostly used in unoccupied properties or properties waiting for new glazing.
Our Stafford specialists traditionally use 10 or 12mm sterling boards as these are the most standard, secure, and cost-effective solutions but marine ply is available upon request. When fitting boards for your boarding-up solutions, our team can also build subframes if they are required, this helps reduce the damage to the material surrounding the affected area.
Boarding up is not the only temporary solution to your glazing emergencies, we also offer a micron safety film service which comes in 2 standard sizes, this helps hold the affected pieces of glass together to prevent further spread of the issue, increase the chance of repair, and contain the damage. The 2 different sizes allow us to tailor the service to your property as most properties are different. Our experts also make double glazed units, how this is done will be dependant upon the damage, whether the area affected is one or two panes. The extent of the damage allows our team to make the perfect unit safe.
Swift Glass has been in the industry for 20-years and we have always been one of the UK’s leading suppliers of glazing solutions, that is why we ensure that all work executed exceeds industry and customer standards, this enables us to remain a market leader and further establish our reputable name. Our Swift Glass team will complete work quickly and efficiently, making your property safe and secure once again – all with minimising time and hassle.
